A third generation real estate executive, Jason Halpern serves as managing partner of JMH Development, a firm which he founded. Having overseen diverse residential and commercial projects spanning New York City and Westchester County, a hallmark of Jason Halpern’s approach is work in historic districts that is sensitive to the architecture of the neighborhood.

Mr. Halpern’s current projects include a 143-unit Queens rental building that has been conceived by the architect SLCE and incorporates significant first floor retail space. He is also developing 8995 Collins, a 55-unit luxury condominium in Miami’s waterfront Surfside area. In South Beach, JMH spearheaded the renovation of a historic motel into the Starwood Aloft, a 235 key hotel that features a unique exterior design and large rooms.

Community focused, Mr. Halpern has implemented a number of charitable efforts within the JMH workplace. One such initiative has involved contributing $20,000 for each contract signed at the Three Hundred Collins residential development to an international water nonprofit that funds safe drinking water initiatives across Nepal and Ethiopia.
