Jason Halverson works in the IT department for Switch Communications where enjoys the fast-paced environment of the Collocation / Datacenter industry. Helping to maintain Microsoft SCCM environment he supports several OSD / MDT Deployments along with the expanding the application catalog. During his tenure at Switch, he has learned multiple methods of silent software deployments. To save time and build better deployments / solutions he has become well versed in Microsofts Powershell. During his time the Collocation / Datacenter field Jason Halverson has received multiple industry standard certifications: Microsoft MCSA: Server 2012, ITIL Foundations, CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ and is a MCT SCCM certificate holder.

A native of Las Vegas Nevada, he lives with his wonderful wife and 2 dogs. He enjoys 4-wheeling, shooting and exploring the deserts around the city. He served his church while living in the lower regions of Italy. From this experience, he nurtured a deep love for all things Italian, including Pizza and lasagna. One day he would like to go back there and explore the region with his family and re-live his experiences there.

Jason is a builder, he learned how to weld when he was young and loves to utilize his abilities to provide artistic metal designs for his family and friends. Using his metal working skills along with wood working he produces home furniture on occasion when his wife lets him put it in their home. He will soon be posting pictures of his latest project on his website below.

Dedicated to his career he constantly builds testing environments incorporating fully functional Microsoft Exchange, SCCM and IIS instances. His latest project of hosting his own email and webserver provided him with an opportunity after his day job to serve his family and friends by hosting their websites / services.
