Over the course of his career as a human resources and executive search professional, Jason Hanold has remained dedicated to community service and charitable giving. He is a former member of the board of directors of Big City Mountaineers, a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of at-risk urban youth via wilderness mentoring expeditions. Due to the support of Jason Hanold and fellow board members, Big City Mountaineers has helped young people to stay in school and significantly reduce the likelihood that they will become involved in violence and drug use.

A longtime alpine mountain climber, Jason Hanold has regularly participated in the Summit for Someone charity climbs with Big City Mountaineers. Every year, the Summit for Someone program takes dozens of climbers to one of the most physically and mentally challenging peaks in North America. In addition to his fundraising activities with the Summit for Someone program, Jason Hanold has led the Big City Mountaineers Nominations & Governance Committee.

In the professional sphere, Jason Hanold is the founder and managing partner of Hanold Associates LLC, a retained executive search firm based in Chicago. In this capacity, he focuses his activities primarily on the acquisition of human resources officers, HR generalist teams, talent acquisition and talent management leaders, and total rewards. He worked for several years as a managing director with Russell Reynolds Associates, where he served on the board of directors and CEO Practices.

Before launching his career in human resources management and recruitment, Jason Hanold received a master of science from the Northwestern University School of Communications. He also holds advanced management certification from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
