I am an Audiologist, Certified Tinnitus Practitioner, HCPC Registered Hearing Aid Dispenser and CNHC Registered Hypnotherapist. I have had a partial loss of hearing since childhood and tinnitus as an adult, and have been a hearing aid user for ten years. I have been actively involved in treating hearing loss and tinnitus since 2003, and now write about tinnitus and its treatment. I combine evidence-based techniques from within conventional and complimentary healthcare. I am particularly excited about the SoundCure Serenade, which is the closest thing to a tinnitus cure currently available. Ask me about it! In my spare time I sing in a choir, and I am a qualified paraglider pilot, though I never seem to get the time to fly these days! I am married and have a daughter.
