Photographer, Filmmaker, and Musician in Lexington, TN
Hi my name is Jason Marcum. I’m a 21 year old Digital Media Communications Major and Film Studies Minor. Alongside being a full-time student, I run my own small business, JM PhotoFilm, as well as working part time for Wyatt’s Landscaping in Parsons, TN. I love serving at my church, The Well Church in Parsons and Lexington, and I love capturing moments for people to relive. I thrive in intense situations when I am forced to deliver in the moment. Stress is a good thing for me. It means that I’m accomplishing something, and I’m being pushed to deliver.
Another thing I like to do is play and write music. I taught myself how to play drums when I was 14 years old, and I taught myself how to play piano when I was 17. Playing music is an escape for me, and being able to write music allows me to express what I’m going through in an artistic way. Being able to combine my love for music with my love for film and my faith is what sums up who I really am.
