Jason Pereira

Jason began his career in the financial industry in 1997 in the brokerage business. Before joining Bennett March, Jason founded Woodgate Financial Partners with his business partner, James Collins. Jason regularly writes articles for several industry publications. His commentary has also found its way into The Business News Network (BNN), CTV News, The Canadian Press, The Toronto Star, The Globe & Mail, The Hamilton Spectator, SunTV News, Yahoo! News and MSN Finance. He has served on the CFP Level 1 Examination Item Writing Committee for the Financial Planners Standard Counsel, is a guest lecturer at the Schulich School of Business at York University and has taught continuing education courses for the Certified Management Accountant's Association.

During the course of his career, Jason has been awarded a Masters of Business Administration (MBA), is a CFA Charterholder (Chartered Financial Analayst) , the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, the Financial Management Advisor (FMA) designation, the Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM) certification, the Personal Financial Planner (PFP) designation and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) .
