Jason Shimp works with the Colorado State Patrol in Durango, Fort Collins, and Steamboat Springs. He was assigned to the Steamboat Springs station in 2016.

Mr. Jason is a Field Training Officer and a Drug Recognizer in Field Sobriety Testing, Defensive Tactics, and Arrest Control (PILLAR). This program is used in many Northwest Colorado schools.
