In the 20+ years he's been working, Jason still loves creating digital experiences to help people find the best outcomes. Each project he tackles, provides new challenges to solve and ideas to develop.

Jason designed the first web based magazine, Computer Mediated Communications, in 1994.

He wrote the first book for designers on CSS in 1996.

He was lead designer on the WebMD launch in 1998.

He built the first online interactive comic book in 2006.

He wrote the first book on web typography in 2009.

Jason is now the co-founder and lead creative at The CranfordTeague Group, which specializes in digital communication strategies, helping clients design for trust.

When he's not designing, writing about design, or talking about design, he enjoys hanging out with his wife, talking geek culture with his kids, walking with his cat, going to sci-fi conventions, & grilling up tasty meals. He lives outside of the Washington DC area, but loves to travel to distant lands whenever possible.
