Born and raised in Hawai'i.

Growing up in Hawai'i provided me with a unique sense of place in the discourses of language; code switching; translation; race; identity; education; cultural appropriation; privilege; marginalized and postcolonial populations; and economics.

I left Hawai'i and moved to San Francisco after I was old enough to drink.

I have been a messenger on the streets of San Francisco, served coffee and led a team of developers to refine content developer and editor teams' output for an educational web site.

I found myself as a former union carpenter who collaborated to found a classical dance company.

I recently located to New York City, there was snow. I was confused by sweating and freezing concurrently.

I am fascinated with learning and by compelling curiosity.

I am looking for opportunities to collaborate.
