Jason St. Amand is a professional educator with more than 20 years of experience teaching at every level from lower, middle, and upper schools. A former archaeologist turned classroom educator, technology coordinator, AP Computer Science instructor, History teacher, STEAM Coordinator, and Middle/Upper School Principal, Mr. St. Amand has a unique experience at all levels. Formerly of Woodward Academy, the largest private school in the continental U.S., Mr. St. Amand served as a lower and middle school educator and technology coordinator as well as middle and high school coach and Chair of the Annual Fund for the Advancement Office. During his tenure, Woodward raised almost a million dollars as part of the faculty division of the Annual Fund. He then served as the Technology Coordinator at Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa, Fl. where he focused his attention on creating professional development opportunities to the faculty, students, and administration. Mr. St. Amand then moved to Montgomery, Alabama where he took a position as the STEAM Coordinator at The Montgomery Academy where he led efforts in technology integration and STEAM education for students. The goal of this student-centered project-based learning program was to create independent and critical thinkers as well as globally conscious digital citizens who understand and can harness a myriad of technology.

Mr. St. Amand currently serves as the Head of Middle/Upper Schools at The Village School of Naples. A STEAM-based school located in Naples, Florida that focuses on STEAM education, project-based learning, design thinking, and a multiple intelligence approach to learning. Most recently he presented at the FCIS, FETC, and GAETC conferences on Leadership, Student Life, Design Thinking, and Project-Based Learning.

Jason St. Amand holds a BA in History from the University of Maine and a Masters of Science in Education from Cal State University.
