Some say I'm too dependent on technology, perhaps it's the thousands of hours of media on the home server, or my constant tinkering with the smartphone, flashing new ROMs and making it do more than intended. Which seems to make it fail at the worse times. But regardless, I love the entertainment, the conveniences, and the challenges that technology brings.

For the simpler times, I love hanging out with my family and friends. I love taking my son to the Shedd Aquarium or a museum and watching him discover, or the the local quarry to go fishing. Or firing up the smoker for a stack of spare ribs, beans, cornbread, warm company and cold drinks. And occasionally making it out to the trap or target range for some shooting.
