Jason Turner is a successful entrepreneur, digital media & technology pioneer, and investor. Heis the Founder & Chairman of Entanglement, Inc.a private public partnership & leading quantum and advanced computation companylocated in Newport, RI whose mission is to accelerate QIS and AI.
He has helped shape the U.S. national quantum narrative, is a member of the Quantum Industry Coalition headed by K&L Gates, inaugural Chair of the Workforce Development Subcommittee for NIST's Quantum Economic Development Consortium, and advises the White House on workforce development issues. Mr. Turner is also the Chairman of Ravel Vision, a leading video analytic & artificial intelligence company, Chairman of Everywhere Live, a live mobile video social media app that connects billions of people globally, & advises Silicon Valley technology companies.
In 2014, he founded Sensate Holdings, an R&D and technology holding company focused on big-data, cognitive systems, emotion analytics, and quantum technologies.
In 2015, Jason was elected to the board of directors of Directors of Boston-based startup Parallel Processing, Inc. PPI digitizes parking data, creating geo-specific data streams for autonomous vehicles and connected GPS and APPs. In October 2014, PPI was selected as a strategic partner to the City of Newport, Rhode Island.
Prior experience includes: Founder of Agnostic Media, Inc. (2001), creators of enterprise media asset management software and services. As CEO & Chairman, he built strategic partnerships with giants such as Apple (iTunes), Microsoft, Oracle, HP, HBO, Viacom/MTV, CBS, MLB, Lionsgate, Global Crossing, Savvis (CenturyLink), the company’s product and vision and associated M&A activities. Launched Tunestile, Inc. (2004), a master digital distributor. Negotiated distribution deals with iTunes, Amazon, Netflix, XBOX, and others. In 2005, launched TTCG, a media technology and green venture firm. He also served as the Chairman of CREEM (America's Only Rock 'n' Roll Magazine).
Jason’s passion for media started early and by the age of 6 was deemed a piano prodigy. After studying at Berklee College of Music, and working with Grammy artists, he went on to pioneer the first online pay-per-view concert and technologies that enabled the digital media and distribution industry to unfold.
