I am a “people-person.” I gravitate towards areas that motivate, inspire and uplift people. I’m an idea man, a go-to-person, adventure seeker, couch surfer, a helper and a leader, a realist and a dreamer. I am as complex as one can be. I’m a man with conflicting thoughts and views that’s given me the ability to see the best in any situation and in everyone. I believe in the power one has to control their life.

I’m fascinated by the world around me and equally curious about the untold wonders above. I’ve been to 47 states in the Union and been in three continents. I completed backpacking through 20 countries in 12 months in 2012. I believe in the power of the mind and the law of the universe to make anything a reality. I’ve been called lucky but cleaning toilets is not a distant memory.

I’m a micro loan philanthropist focused on self-sufficiency and a serial entrepreneur bent on world sustainability. I’m a filmmaker capturing history and a writer blogging curiosity.

I am financial motivator, lifestyle engineer, author, speaker and entrepreneur as Founder and CEO of Phroogal, a financial education startup empowering millennials with the simplest way to learn about money, discover the right financial products and make better-informed financial decisions.

In 2012, I left my career and home to backpack around the world. After returning in 2013, I learned how to define my purpose and funnel my passion, and successfully crowd funded Phroogal, raising $78,501 from 541 people.

Most recently in 2015, I completed an epic 10,218-mile road trip across the United States participating in 37 events in 30 locations attended by over 8,000 people in 30 days. The Road to Financial Wellness is an award winning campaign and has been called an unparalleled epic financial event.
