Though living overseas for the past 14 years, I still consider myself an Oregonian at heart. I’ve had the privilege of teaching mathematics to middle and high school students in the U.S. and international schools in the Dominican Republic, China, Indonesia, and most recently Poland. Coaching and playing basketball has always been a passion of mine; as is photography, backpacking, and pretty much anything else that gets me outside. This year, I am taking a sabbatical to travel to the US national parks and to Baja, Mexico to try out tiny living with my wife and 11 year-old daughter in our tent trailer.
