Jason Woerz has served as 24 Exchange Bermuda's president since 2019, during which time the firm earned the FIA Innovator award. Following this, Jason Woerz earned the 2020 Trade Tech FX Shark Tank award.
Mr. Woerz has two decades of experience at numerous financial firms, focusing on foreign currency exchanges and hedging interest rates. He spent two years as a treasury analyst at Viacom before fulfilling a similar role with Bristol-Myers Squibb.
During his three years at Bristol-Myers Squibb, he helped with its funding by issuing short-term, unsecured debt and managed trades valued in the millions every month. At the time of his employment, the company's short-term cash portfolio was valued at $6 billion.
Mr. Woerz earned a bachelor of science in business at the University of Rhode Island, graduating in 1999. While working at Bristol-Myers Squibb, he earned his master of business administration at New York University, where he specialized in international finance. He graduated in 2004. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and cooking.
