Jason Zeeman is a SAMA Award-winning singer/songwriter from Johannesburg, South Africa.
Jason was the frontman of the Johannesburg-based rock band Reason, with whom he recorded and released three studio albums. The band's second album won the 'Christian Pop/Rock Album of the Year' at the 14th annual South African Music Awards (SAMA). Reason's final release was an acoustic EP titled "The 11th Street Sessions." Following the band's disbandment, Jason pursued a solo career, releasing his album All Things New in 2013. This album was highly acclaimed, being ranked the third best release of the year in its genre in the UK, behind Matt Rodman and Martin Smith.
After a hiatus from recording, Jason returned with a four-track EP titled Sweet Escape in 2020. Two songs from this EP reached number one on the SA Top 40 chart, with a third receiving heavy rotation on radio stations across South Africa.
Throughout his career, Jason has had the privilege of supporting international acts like Delirious? and Tree63. He also played guitar for Tim Hughes & Worship Central on their South African tour and performed with Martin Smith in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
