Jason Zibarras is the Managing Partner and Founder of Argo Infrastructure Partners, which he founded in 2013 with the desire to create an improved way to combine the infrastructure needs of institutional investors, with a simpler and reduced risk investment model and structure. Managing more than $6bn of capital on behalf of institutional partners, his experience within the infrastructure investment industry has seen him close notable deals including the recent signing of a landmark 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Tennessee Valley Authority in a joint venture alongside Brookfield.

Jason Zibarras has developed an investment philosophy which combines strong investment returns within a responsible and sustainable framework. Environmental, social and governance best practices are therefore continually integrated into asset selection and management processes. One of Argo’s managed assets was awarded the first “E1” Green Evaluation from Standard and Poors.

Jason Zibarras began his career at ING Barings. His responsibilities included the origination and execution of infrastructure advisory, debt and equity capital arranging and private finance for opportunities globally. Landmark transactions included the sell side advisory during the privatisation of Brussels Airport, the restructuring of Ajman Utilities plus several transactions for John Laing plc, including the sale of Laing homes and Laing Construction.

Between 2007 and 2013, Jason Zibarras served as the Managing Director and Global Chief Investment Officer of Infrastructure Investment Group at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. This role included responsibility for managing the Group’s existing portfolio of investments, heading the Group's European investment activities and managing a global private equity portfolio. Zibarras led JPM Infrastructure Investment Fund’s acquisition team in the purchase of Cairns and Mackay Airports. Zibarras was also a member of the Investment Committee and Chair of the Group’s Operating Committee.

Jason Zibarras also currently sits on several infrastructure company boards globally.
