Jasmine Galberth

Durham, North Carolina, United States

Hi!

My name is Jasmine Galberth and I am currently a senior at North Carolina Central University, majoring in Hospitality and Tourism Administration. Because of my father’s military status, I was born and lived for three years in Germany. From Germany, my family was relocated to Georgia, Massachusetts, and then finally, Raeford, North Carolina near Fort Bragg. As a young child, I was always very interested in my aunt’s event planning business. I loved being around all the decorations and seeing all the food and how everything was set up. I can remember always wanting to go to each planned event and see how beautifully everything turned out. As I got older, I took every opportunity to help with anything and everything from cooking to decorating and even sometimes making phone calls or organizing paperwork. Being surrounded by the excitement of event planning was a heavy contributor to my desire to major in Hospitality and Tourism and eventually become a top-of-the-line event planner.

I am an authoritative, dominant, leading individual with key skills, original and progressive ideas, and realistic aspirations. My primary skills and abilities lie in the areas of communication, listening, team building, delegation, critical thinking, and accountability. My clearest distinction from my peers is my advanced foresight. Unlike my peers, I am uniquely able to foresee all possible avenues resulting from a particular choice. This foresight allows for the most effective decision making in both personal and professional endeavors. My immediate goal is to gain a position in which I am able not only to contribute my unique skills to a team, but also to gain any other necessary abilities that will allow me to become a peerless, established industry leader.
