J. Alexander Atwood

Alex Atwood has considerable experience in an array of litigation matters, including criminal defense, breach of contract, commercial disputes, domestic law and mediation.

Mr. Atwood is a licensed Georgia attorney and is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of Georgia, including the Supreme Court and Court of Appeals, the federal district courts in both the Northern and Southern Districts of Georgia as well as the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Atwood spent his early professional years serving first in local law enforcement, followed by service as a Special Agent with the federal government. At the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Mr. Atwood successfully led all legal training for thousands of law enforcement officers and agents. Mr. Atwood served as a Glynn County Magistrate Judge prior to his decision to run for the State House of Representatives seat in 2010.
