Gavin Zaccury was born in Northeast China, a descendant of Sibe & Manju. His surname of Sibe is 『札库里』. His father told him that their ancestors were from a place named 『磋草沟』, which is also in Northeast China. His ancestors are members of Bordered White Banner.

When graduated from the university in 2003, Gavin decided to be a Java programmer. Now he is living in Beijing.

He is interested in programming, architecture, as well as some dynamic languages (e.g. Python), etc.
