Madrid - Spain

I was born in Málaga (Spain) in 1978. I lived there for almost all my childhood and adolescence (except a period of five years than my family was moved to the Canary Island)

My family was formed by my both parents (Pedro y Paula) and one brother (Pablo). My father worked as engineer in the national tobacco company and my mother was housewife.

I studied all my primary and secondary studies in school owned the by the Society of Jesus. I received a religous education.

During those years, the most important thing I would like to outline was that, together with a group of my best friends, we founded a sports mountain club. We created it in 1991 and named it Siete Lagunas, and was supported by our school. The first Jesuist (Antonio Marín) that encouraged and helped us to organize the group will always be one of the person (not from my family) that had a strong influence on my education and personality. During the club activities, we had the opportunity to learn from him important values like friendship, hardworking or spirit of service.

I lived with my family until the age of 18, in 1996, when I moved to Madrid to study in the university. In Madrid I lived with my grandfather, unfortunately he passed away after 4 months living together. It was a hard time for me, because I had just started my studies in a new city. However, I think my grandfather was still helping me from heaven as I was able to keep studying and finish my first year normally. That was also the moment when I started to live alone until I got married, except a couple of years I shared the house with my brother in Madrid and two more years a shared a flat with my classmates in Barcelona.

Firstly, I studied a diploma in Mechanical Engineering in the Universidad Pontifica Comillas (ICAI). I finished it in 1999 and changed to another university to finish my grade in Industrial Engineering in two years more.

1999 was also an important year in my life. In December I had a ski accident where I broke some vertebrae. That accident required from me to be lying down for a couple of months. After a few months of recovery, I was able to recover completely my normal life previous to the accident. And nowadays I have no consquences from the accident, thank God.
