I am passionate about solving equations that reflect real-world phenomena and developing efficient computational tools that can be used, for instance, to gain insight into the problem of interest or even to predict certain scenarios. Moreover, I enjoy coding, and I love to see how equations written on a piece of paper come alive on a computer screen (either as a beautiful coloured plot or as numbers in a Unix terminal).

Nevertheless, whenever I am not writing code or proving a theorem, I might be hiking in the middle of a forest or attending the performance of a group of musicians.
