Born and raised in San Antonio, I spent many years there growing in the hot Texas Sun. My formative years were spent at a small Catholic School (St. Ann's). It was there that I learned to learn both my ABC's and my 'rithmetic. Of course having learned them years before from my sisters did not hurt. I learned to acquire a sense of adventure from both my surrounding family and my surrounding environment. The times that we would walk home to our house on Huisache through the streets and over the creek began to lean me towards some of the wild ideas that still to this day churn inside my head. And to add to that, my parents felt that education was a must and my mother would take us to the Public Library on San Pedro across from SAC where we would check out books on any topic; as long as we read was what was important. From that, I learned that I had a voracious appetite to read; and the idea that I could as the 'Pen'masters did; which was to write. Many years later, I left the Great state of Texas to venture east and South to the state of Florida. It was here that I began my Great Work. It was an evening, some time before christmas that I knew that I would not be able to send anything to anyone for the holidays. It was right then and there that I shot out a little story that would ignite both me and my mind to continue to put pen to paper (or in my case, fingers to keyboard). Hoping to work my way back to TX, to the land of the 'Great Heat' and start using my talents where they are needed.
