Greetings Parents, I have been working in the IB Prep STEM Lab for almost a whole school year now. There have been many interesting projects and assignments. An example would be Baseball Bungee. We calculated the maximum number of rubber bands (taped to baseballs) would not have the baseball hit the ground. I am pretty sure our calculation got nineteen bands but unfortunately we were off by a few decimals. My favorite project is the yearly twenty percent projects. We get three or four per trimester. This is truly an amazing class with all of the technology and projects.
