When people invariably try to place us into a box labeled “creative” or “analytical,” no one considers the notion that we all possess creativity as well as the ability to analyze. I should know. I’ve successfully taught art students to think critically and corporate executives how to communicate complicated ideas in ways anyone can understand. By the way, I’m also a former Division-I sprinter who now runs half-marathons ... however embarrassingly slowly. A skilled communicator and part-time conguero, I’m a creative problem solver with excellent rhythm. And my intellectual curiosity guides me to strategically align my PR efforts with sound communications research and business principles. Though novelist and PEN/Faulkner Award Winner Toby Olson calls my writing “fine, intricate, convicted work,” and Fortune 50 execs describe my speechwriting as “brilliant,” I’m just a Philly dude who’s as comfortable inhaling a cheesesteak as I am a vegan green smoothie.
