Having just read a HuffPo article (and its many comments besides) that derides the term ‘mixologist’ as hipsterism, I find myself clinging to the label more tightly than ever before.
I’m not a professional. I don’t tend bar. I don’t pour drinks in cocktail competitions, and I can’t pull moves like Tom Cruise and Bryan Brown.
What I am is a regular Joe who loves mixing delicious drinks in the comfort of my own kitchen – or a friend’s kitchen, when they’re amenable.
