Jaya Jain

This is my fourth PMBA course at Quinnipiac University.

As we all know life is so unpredictable, I started my MBA in India and completed my first year out of the two. In the midst of my MBA, I got married and came to the US. I have three kids, 2 in college and 1 in high school. During these unprecedented times of the pandemic, I have had time to re-evaluate my life and decided to finally complete my MBA. Although it is challenging starting education after a long gap, this is a challenge that I am more than willing to take.

My experience in business has been limited to managing my family business. Now I want to step out of my comfort zone and step in the corporate world. I am a licensed real estate agent and currently working in the Cheshire School District.

In the last 20+ years, we have lived in various US cities including Allentown, Pennsylvania; Houston, Texas; and internationally, the UK and Costa Rica. In addition, we have traveled to many countries, including Italy, France, Poland, Norway, and many other countries in Asia including China. I definitely enjoy traveling and have a few other places to visit on my bucket list.

Ironically, I live across from Quinnipiac and am doing an on-online program.

I am looking forward to learning from all of you and venturing on this learning endeavor together.
