Jaya Khanchandani

Born on the 8th of November 1967, in the city of Mumbai, I was named Bina R. Setpal. Endowed with good genes, didn't really work on fitness to stay thin. Lived all my life (before marriage) on Marine Drive but never used the promanade to work out, no cycling, no jogging, no walking. A friend once said that sports for her, as a child, was a game of ludo( a board game), and I was much like her.

Circa, somewhere in my mid thirtys, marriage and two teen daughters later, my sister, Manju, points out to my expanding love handles. Now its important to understand Manju, as an adolesent was perpetually fighting the bulge, and she,when in her thirtys was fighting fit. Obiously, that barb hurt and got me aware of my form and my husbands too.
