Jay D. Bennett

Mr. Bennett currently works as the Instruction and Course Coordinator with Michigan Virtual University. He earned his Bachelor of Arts and Masters in Education from Western Michigan University. Jay is a former middle school and high school special education teacher. He and his wife, Angie, have lived in the Grand Ledge area for almost eight years. Their two children currently attend Grand Ledge Public Schools. Mr. Bennett has previously served as the Vice-President of the Willow Ridge PTA and has served on several school related boards and advisory committees. Mr. Bennett was elected to his first term on the Board of Education in 2011.
