From launching Firefox to collaborating with AI

Open Web Activism & Building Tools That Keep Humans at the Center

--------

Product leader with 20+ years driving innovation at the intersection of technology and creativity. From launching Firefox 1.0 at Mozilla to pioneering AI experiences at Adobe, I've helped shape how millions experience the digital world. Currently building creative empowerment tools at RWND Online/Allusion Ink.

Started at Netscape then Mozilla, where I helped launch Firefox 1.0—breaking IE's monopoly—and led MDN's rebrand into the definitive web developer resource. We championed open web standards (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) empowering millions of developers worldwide.

At TiVo, I pioneered second-screen experiences for MLB, Spotify, YouTube, Netflix, fundamentally changing TV interaction. The web services architecture I designed still powers TiVo today.

My PLG expertise was forged at Atlassian and Box. At Atlassian, I led buyer experience for Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Trello—scaling revenue from $300M to $1B+ through IPO. This foundation helped me guide Litmus, Sendoso, and Hightail in product evolution.

At Palm NFT Studio, I collaborated with Jim Lee/DC Comics translating iconic art into 3D generative processes, launching Batman's first NFT marketplace (11K sold). Built DSCVR's Web3 platform merging Reddit, Discord, Instagram (10X DAU growth). After Creative Market, evolved Litmus Email Analytics with AI insights. At Adobe Photoshop, helped millions unlock Firefly AI while ensuring tools enhance rather than replace human creativity.

Throughout my career—from breaking browser monopolies to democratizing creative tools, from revolutionizing TV to bringing superheroes to Web3—I've championed one truth: technology must elevate humanity, never replace it. As AI floods our world with instant content, I see a critical danger: the slow erosion of human imagination as we become passive consumers of machine-made creativity. When everything looks, sounds, and feels the same, we risk losing the wild, messy, beautiful unpredictability that defines human expression. The urgent challenge isn't just preserving human agency—it's actively nurturing the creative spark that makes us irreplaceable. This drives everything I'm building at RWND Online with Cardshow and Allusion Ink with Vaya Memories: tools that help humans cultivate imagination rather than outsource it to machines.
