Jay Bowles

I'm a UI/UX Designer with over 3 years of experience working in UK startups and more than 6 years of experience working as a designer.

I use pen, paper, Sketch and Framer.js to prototype best-in-class animated interactive and visual designs. I'm also familiar with front-end architecture best-practice and regularly implement my own designs. I use the Jobs-to-be-Done framework to allow me to contribute to Product Management discussions.

At a macro level I'm interested in two main areas of technology. The first thing is what could broadly be called Smart Guides. These use machine learning and massive quantities of personal data to guide people to goals they would otherwise have struggled to achieve. I'm also interested Virtual Reality and how it might make it possible for people to live radically simpler lives, allowing for smaller homes and fewer belongings.

I'm also interested in the business of consumer tech and philosophy/psychology.
