Jay Brodsky

Jay Brodsky is an experienced technology executive with broad IT and general-management experience at Fortune 500, private, and non-profit corporations. He founded and operates Align Digital, LLC, a boutique IT consulting company based in Arlington, VA that assists small- and medium-sized businesses facing technology challenges. He has served as the Chief Information Officer of Thompson Media Group, a private-equity-backed information provider of regulatory compliance guidance across a wide variety of industries and was previously CIO of the Atlantic Media Company, a privately held publisher of some of the most influential media outlets in America, including the Atlantic Monthly, the National Journal, and Government Executive.

Prior to his time at Atlantic Media, Brodsky held the role of director of digital media at National Public Radio, and spent eleven years at Tribune Media Services, the content-licensing and entertainment-data aggregation unit of Chicago-based Tribune Company, where he rose to the level of vice president for technology. Brodsky has also served as General Manager for NewsCom, an $8M web-based photo-licensing business.

Brodsky has experience in the development of enterprise technology architectures, infrastructure management, software and web development, and has led technology turnarounds, M&A efforts and startups in companies ranging from 10-800 employees in size.

He holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
