Jay was born and raised in Miami, FL while his family hails from Puerto Rico. He moved to Jacksonville, FL before high school and attended Douglas Anderson School of the Arts for Performance/Musical Theatre. After, he moved to New York City and has survived for two years in 7 different homes before finally settling in Brooklyn. Jay has since graduated from the Tom Todoroff Acting Conservatory.

As much as Jay loves the hustle and bustle of New York City, he seeks adventure outside of it, often to drive along the North Shore of Hawaii with friends, fish with his dad in the oceans by The Florida Keys, swim in coves, camp on beaches, and bathe under waterfalls in Miami. With the grueling inconsistent weather Jay has endured in the city, it's important for him to go back to his tropical roots.

You might stumble across Jay shredding the Ukulele at Open Mic nights around the city when he's not enjoying the nightlife or working on his next project with fellow artists. He's caught the writing bug and continues to write short plays and screenplays.

This year, Jay is focused on starting up a Theatre/Production company to fund his own works and the works of other aspiring artists.

Oh, and yes. Jay does speak Spanish.
