Jaye Rancourt

Throughout her educational career, Jaye Rancourt not only participated in several prestigious honor societies, such as Alpha Phi Sigma, Phi Eta Sigma, Omicron Delta Kappa, and Psi Chi, but she also received the Iris Leadership Scholarship and the Presidential Honor Scholarship and made the Dean’s list twice during her time in law school. Jaye Rancourt completed a Bachelor of Arts with Elmira College in New York, focusing her studies on criminal justice and psychology. Afterward, Rancourt moved to Portland to study for her Juris Doctor at the University of Maine School of Law. At present, Jaye Rancourt works with the Brennan, Caron, Lenehan & Iacopino law firm as both a Shareholder and an Attorney. Rancourt achieved Shareholder status in 2009, six years after beginning with the company. Before working with her current firm, Jaye Rancourt served as an attorney with the New Hampshire Public Defender from 1999 until 2003. Jaye Rancourt has held titles with various prominent groups, most notably as Administrative Director, Affiliate Director, and District Representative for Massachusetts and New Hampshire with the Young Lawyers Division of the American Bar Association. Rancourt was also elected Chairperson for the New Hampshire Bar Association’s New Lawyers’ Committee. During her recreational time, Jaye Rancourt enjoys cycling. She also works with the HEAR in New Hampshire charity, sitting on the Board of Trustees for an organization focusing on children with hearing disabilities.
