Jay Hagen is the Chief of the Bellevue Fire Department in Bellevue, WA. Previously, he was assigned to the Operations Division of the Seattle, Washington Fire Department. During his thirty year career as a first responder he has been assigned to the Operations, Fire Prevention, Training, and Administrative divisions. A 2002 graduate of the University of Montana, Jay has studied organizational communications and business management. In March 2006, he earned a Master of Arts degree in Homeland Security and Defense from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. Jay is the former Chair of the Interagency Board.
