Jayme Arredondo – a diverse hip-hop and reggae drummer from the Oakland-bay area. He has toured the world from Africa to South America, back to Greece and Canada playing with big international reggae stars such as Don Carlos, Jr Reid, Lutan Fyah and Uroy. Locally he has played with The Congress, We A Dem, Paris King Band, Soul Captives, Ishi Dube, Jah Sun and Soul Majestic, amongst many others. Some people say he puts drum machines out of business. Having backed reggae legends, Jayme brings a wealth of experience and authenticity in Jamaican rhythms. He has yet to play for a crowd that could stay in their seats during live performances.
