I used to think constantly thinking about the zombie apocalypse, which may or may not have anything to do with being a passionate member of the environmental community in Alberta. Climate change, natural disasters, stakeholder engagement; it can feel like the end of the world is upon us. However, as every zombie movie taught us, a small group of thoughtful, committed, resourceful people can change the world. Or...alternately, it takes a massive hoard of people with only one thought in mind to change the world.

Now that we've made it through a pandemic, I am still focused on hope, innovation, and collaboration. We need widespread systematic change in order to address the complex problems we face, and I am confident that by working together, we will find solutions. For now, I've dedicated my life to community resilience by finding and facilitation opportunities for people to learn more about their climate changed world, and how sustainability is manifesting in their own background.
