I was born in washington state, but i've been living in Santa Barbara, CA for almost all of my life. I consider this my home. I'm an artist, and i love the process of creating and everything that it entails. I paint with acrylic, on whatever surface i can get my hands on. I design jewelry as well. Everything i make, i make because it's my way of expressing emotion. Art has always been that avenue for me. Some people use shrinks, i use creativity. I've had to face some really difficult times in my life that have shaped me into who I am today. At one point i would've wished to be delt a different hand, but now i wouldn't change a single thing.

I love music, and it plays an enormous role in my life. It always has. My dad is the one who raised me listening to classic Rock N' Roll, which hugely impacted my personal taste in music. If I had never heard a single song by Led Zeppelin, I wouldn't be the same jaime that's writing this. All that to say, that without my dad, i'd be just like everyone else my age listening to talentless current artists. Another love that i have which i can thank my parents for is riding dirtbikes. I grew up around it, so it was pretty much engrained in me. Now, i'm a total adrenaline junkie.

I am the oldest of three kids. I have a beautiful 20 year old sister, and a hilarious 9 year old little brother. He is the absolute joy of my life. I havn't always been there for them, but i'm working on it. I consider the family that i was born into, to be a huge blessing that not most get to have.
