Hi, my name is Jayne Whitehouse and i LOVE beautiful things. I am blessed to live in an ever exciting world of beauty. My favourite form is nature but I have a passion for gorgeous houses that nurture and nourish you. I suppose my greatest love in design has always been sumptuous fabrics. Oh, and my new love is handpainted chinese silk wallpapers! I started Whitehouse Interior Design in 1987 at 4 Transvaal Avenue, Double Bay then Sydney's premier shopping district. Then i moved to 2 Cross St. Double Bay, lured by the idea of more windows to show the many looks i love. Then i moved to the new design precinct-Queen Street Woollahra. These days i enjoy modern design as well my former opulent look. Belle Magazine styled me "The Girl with Great Taste" and Vogue Living "A Past Master at Meltingly Pretty".
