Jay Ok

Hi, my name is Jay Ok, and I live in Peachtree City, GA. Peachtree City is suburb situated south from Atlanta downtown. While it may be a quiet city and not many events going on as Atlanta has, there are many meaningful and interesting activities I had fun with. A unique characteristic of the city is that one can drive a golf cart around town. In fact, I often use my golf cart as my primary method of transportation in high school days. I use it to drive to school, grocery stores, and wherever I have to go in town. Sometimes, my friends and I would hang out in the golf cart. Our destinations would sometimes be the library where we would cram or procrastinate together. Other times, we would go to a mart called J-Mart which sells snacks and drinks imported from countries in Asia. I would buy Korean food which is familiar to me as I am a Korean myself or unfamiliar food usually from imported from Japan or China. Here, my favorite snack is the shrimp crackers. However, my favorite destination would be Lake Peachtree. It is a man-made lake where one could do fishing, swimming, or just relaxing. Here, I would often relax here enjoying the atmosphere and escape from the stresses of schoolwork and other life issues I might run into. Although Peachtree City might be a typical suburb of Atlanta, there are many interesting activities to do like many other small cities if one might look hard enough.
