Entrepreneur Jay Penske has a rich portfolio of profitable companies under his belt, including Firefly Mobile, Inc., a Chicago-based tech company, and Mail.com. In 2003, Jay Penske founded Penske Media Corporation and grew it to one of the largest media companies in the world, publishing more than 20 top print and digital content sites including Variety, BGR, Hollywood Life, WWD, Deadline, and many more.
Following in his father’s love for motor racing, Penske co-founded Dragon Racing in 2006, a global motorsports racing team with more than 150 years of collective racing experience, including 24 Indy 500 victories and 17 series championships, powering it to winning Rookie of the Year in 2009. After making a name for himself in lacrosse and hockey, Jay Penske graduated from the Wharton School of Business with concentrations in finance, management, and information systems. He sits on the boards of PMC, Penske Business Media, Paley Center for Media, Dragon Racing LLC, and the University of Pennsylvania Library.
