Jay R. Flynn

Jay Flynn is a marketing, strategic communications, and events professional based in the greater Chicagoland area.

He has extensive experience in marketing strategy, communications leadership, and event management, helping organizations connect with their audiences through clear messaging and impactful campaigns.

As Festival Co-Chairman and Head of Marketing, Public Relations & Sponsorship for the Village of Schaumburg’s Schaumburg Septemberfest, Jay leads strategic communications, marketing, and sponsorship efforts for the annual event, applying his expertise to enhance community engagement and elevate the festival experience.

He also serves on the Village of Schaumburg's Bikeways Advisory and on the board of the Prairie Center Arts Foundation, contributing to arts programming, community planning, and local transportation initiatives.

His professional interests include marketing strategy, strategic communications, executive messaging, and the intersection of communications, reputation and leadership.

Outside of work, Jay enjoys music, politics and coffee.
