Jayson Pocius, born March 17, 1987, in Chicago, Illinois, is a dedicated real estate professional currently making significant strides in land acquisition and sustainable development in Las Vegas, Nevada. With a strong educational background, including a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Roosevelt University and an MBA in Finance from Loyola University Chicago, Jayson’s career path has been deeply influenced by his passion for real estate and community improvement.

Initially starting out as a financial advisor, Jayson quickly realized that his true calling was in real estate. He began his journey in the field by managing several LLCs for rental properties in Chicago, focusing on the south side.

In late 2023, Jayson moved to Las Vegas to join KB Home, where he now leads efforts in land acquisition, specifically targeting neglected areas on the east side of the city. His work involves transforming abandoned commercial properties into vibrant residential communities. By focusing on sustainable development, Jayson not only aims to revitalize these areas but also to offer environmentally friendly living solutions that are accessible to first-time homebuyers and those looking to upgrade their homes.

Jayson’s approach is holistic; he believes that real estate development is not just about building houses but creating communities where people can thrive. His projects on the east side of Las Vegas are a testament to his commitment to this philosophy. Under his guidance, areas once filled with derelict buildings and vacant lots are now turning into neighborhoods with new homes, improved infrastructure, and commercial opportunities, sparking a broader revitalization.

Apart from his professional life, Jayson maintains a deep connection to sports, a passion that dates back to his childhood days cheering for the Chicago Bulls. He has also been involved in college basketball as a Special Assistant to the Head Coach for Roosevelt University’s Men’s Basketball team.

Jayson attributes much of his success to his mentor, Hasani Steele of the Steele Consulting Group in Chicago, who has provided him with invaluable insights into real estate development. He is committed to passing on his knowledge by mentoring others interested in entering the real estate field, believing that success is best when shared.
