As a student concurrently enrolled at Columbus Alternative High School (CAHS), The Ohio State University School of Music, and Columbus State Community College, Jayvier maintains a rigorous academic schedule characterized by high marks and exceptional completed works.

Jayvier’s musical portfolio is distinguished by elite performances throughout the state. A recurring figure in prestigious vocal ensembles, he has performed with the OMEA All-State Chorus, the Ohio Choral Directors Association (OCDA) High School Honors Chorus, and the Ohio Wesleyan University Honors Chorus. Under the mentorship of Dr. Collin Richardson, Ms. Casey Cook, and Dr. Robert Ward within The Ohio State University and his high school programs, his technical proficiency is further validated by top-tier rankings at OMEA Solo and Ensemble adjudicated events and his membership in the award-winning CAHS advanced chorus.

A pillar of his school and district, Jayvier serves as a Superintendent Student Ambassador for Columbus City Schools, representing the student voice at the highest level. His leadership extends to the Ohio State University Student Leadership Research Collaborative, where he engages in high-level scholarly inquiry. At CAHS, he is an active force on the Student Council Board, a dedicated club president, and a lead in various student organizations.
