HTCF is a social action vehicle comprised of dedicated educators, marketers, and entrepreneurs seeking structural and systemic change for at-risk youth.

Jaz is a transformational leader that people genuinely want to follow-trust that she will take them somewhere that will bring them benefits. She acts with integrity, encourages others, innovative thinker, her skills and leadership are sometimes look at as quiet leaders.

She leads by example, her style tends to use rapport, inspiration, or empathy to engage our youth. She’s known to possess courage, confidence, compassion and the willingness to make sacrifices for the greater good.

In 2009 Jaz made it her personal mission to eradicate HIV/AIDS. Her passion for the community, outreach programs, changing lives and service led to the formation of HTCF focused on EIE

• IMPACT our youth in a way that builds a voice and take a stand against HIV/AIDS
• EMPOWER our youth to make the right decision before engaging in protected and unprotected sexual activities.

WHO DO WE SERVE

Healing Tree Community Foundation serves our youth…In order for our program to be effective we must engage our parents.

Parents must receive the same developmental skills for the students to maintain a structured foundation at home. Parent, youth, and community healing, physical and psychological wellness for all parties involved.

HOW WE ENGAGE

The Healing Tree Community Foundation’s Power in Numbers program strongly emphasizes the importance of Respecting, Reflecting, and Responding. The youth’s positive adaptation of these actions is detrimental for their success as we continue to develop them into productive and responsible citizens today. Our award-winning program called "Power In Numbers" it has helped our students learn how to do the following:
