Jazmin Thornton

I am a photographer and retoucher currently living in South Devon, England, and studying a BA in Photography at Plymouth College of Art. Although I have been interested in photography for a long time, my real interest now lies in photo-manipulations and editing, which is the direction my work whist at PCA has naturally seemed to take. When practicing photography, I tend to stick with still life and landscape photography, though I also enjoy working in the studio. I have lived and grown up in the South West of England all my life, attending school and commuting to Plymouth from my home town of Torquay. I love to travel and have traversed a great portion of the UK, and I'd one day like to travel the world. Through my time at university I have worked as a freelance photographer and with many interesting people and businesses, particularly a lot of start up businesses around the Torbay area.

I also have a great interest in East Asia, in particular Japan as I have been learning the language for a number of years and shall be travelling soon to study more intensely at a language school. A personal goal in life is to become multilingual and I hope one day to become fluent enough to work in this area.
