Jazzy Davies

Born in Cardiff, Wales in 1969. Grew up in a guesthouse where I learnt my cooking and socialising skills. Life as a kid was kind of interesting, from the shooting range in the cellar to the 10 Nigerians that spoke no English and ate cornflakes with knives and forks.

As a teen I scraped through school, and finished my education in a six form college, taking my A levels and a childcare course, for want of something to do. That went so well that I took a job in a horse racing yard and became a 'lad'.

After going back to college and gaining a pharmacaeutical qualification, I worked in a hospital pharmacy for 9 years while I finished my growing up.

3 kids later, single, after moving back to Cardiff, I finally landed The Job. I became a pharma rep, and progressed over a period of 10 years, loving the salary, lifestyle, 'conference' locations (St Lucia was just one), and of course the company car.

Kids practically grown, time for a change, and I moved to France. Huge change of lifestyle, and a step back in time to a more tranquil place, with friends, and soirées, and smiling.

I do miss proper bacon though
