Jen Ballie

‘…good design should be honest, curious and playful’

I am a Post Doctoral Research Associate within Design in Action, at the University of Dundee in Scotland.

My research portfolio works across the disciplines of textile, interaction and service design. Prior to joining Design in Action, I was a Sustainability Research Fellow, at London College of Fashion. This work included a textile interveniton titled 'Unpick and Remix' for Marks and Spencers Shwop Lab.

I am in the final stages of PhD research titled 'e-Co-Textile Design' which is affiliated to Textile Futures Research Group & Consultancy. I love working collaboratively and have experiencing of participating in IDEO Make-a-thons, Service Design Jams and Design Sprints
