Bea Dizon

Lipa City

My real name is Jomarie Bernadine Angela Pabalate Dizon (please don't frown, it's long I know, I get that a lot) but only the database of a faraway school or company knows that. People call me Bea. You're confused? I see that. I am, too.

I am currently back in Lipa City since I recently graduated from UPLB where I lived for four sweet and mentally-devastating years (which I am proud to survive). I spent my summers in Nagcarlan, Laguna. Confused again, aren't you?

I now have a degree in Bachelor of Science, Development Communication. I intended to major in broadcast communication but ended up majoring in development journalism (as I took minor biology subjects but I secretly wish I took more political science courses instead) and I am currently looking for prospect employment opportunity before pursuing higher studies in social entrepreneurship someday. Can I be more confusing? I know, right?

Underneath the complexities, my heart for creative writing has never ceased beating. When I'm not busy sabotaging my life, I read books I know I can never live, I write poems and prose which I don't like letting others see, I take photos I never print, I cook food for the family, I drink tea and sometimes forget to remove the tea bag, I shamelessly practice my digital designing skills (or lack of) and I walk my dog Tim (I wish she was named Cream instead). Hence, the peculiarity that is me.
