I have over a decade of experience running advocacy campaigns for non-profit organizations. My policy work has taken me from County Councils to the State House to Congress, with 11 years as a registered lobbyist working the state legislative session. I have worked on a variety of issues from clean water to smart growth, and most recently have been active on the range of democracy and good government issues including voting rights, transparency, campaign finance, ethics, and redistricting reform.

My entire career has been spent in the non-profit arena, starting as staff attorney and working my way to Deputy Director and then Executive Director. I have engaged in all aspects of non-profit development, from board and staff management to fundraising to financial accounting. I have worked for both 501(C)(3) and 501(C)(4) entities, ensuring compliance with IRS and all state and local lobby laws, as well as serving as treasurer and compliance officer for a ballot campaign entity.

I am passionate about the outdoors, and am an avid runner, triathlete, and horse rider. My passions have taught me how to build and commit to a long-term plan, stick through tough times, and give something my all.
